Satsuko Hamilton was born in Nagoya, Japan. From the time she was a young girl, she helped in the family business by hand painting designs on china. She also studied flower arranging and the Tea Ceremony. Her meticulous designs of flowers and landscapes reflect her training. She is known for both her watercolors and acrylics.
