Annie Meyer is an artist of many mediums. She paints (primarily oil and acrylic paintings), makes tiles and creates monotype prints, both using the human figure and abstract French Landscape as subject matter.

Her minimalist landscapes come from trips to the Sancerre region of France, where she has been painting for 13 years. She paints a field each evening for the month of September and the paintings and ideas that she produces in France become inspiration for a body of work that she then develops in  her studio during the rainy Portland winters.

 Her work has an ethereal quality of light and an abstract sense of time and place.
