Shanna Ruyle has a bachelors of fine arts degree from Oregon State University where she studied art and design. She is intrigued by colors and textures found in nature and aged by time and wear.  Her playful and experimental approach to these ideas results in art with folds and wrinkles extending beyond the flat surface.  All of her pieces are produced with the idea that the patrons should have the option to hang in any direction that they find pleasing.
