Monica Setziol-Phillips

Monica Setziol-Phillips has been weaving most of her life. She started in her senior year of high school as something to do for fun, and was staying as late in the lab as the janitor would allow by the end of the term.  Her instructor was Sloange Kowert.  She had the opportunity to become seriously involved with wood ( for this she owes a debt of gratitude to her father LeRoy Setziol) after many years of weaving, she soon saw the endless possibilities of integrating the two media in her work.  Monica is a storyteller and has two presentations of the fairy and folk tales that have to do with weaving and spinning.
