Jan Wagstaff

Jan Wagstaff's painted images of various bodies of water and plant life have evolved into studies of local grasses, both native and invasive species. What continually interests her is that these plants and grasses invite the viewer to look closely to observe shape, color, smell and the light that plays on them. She revisits subject matter and places regularly, to view them from new perspectives.
