Brian Brenno was first introduced to glass blowing in 1981 while attending a stained glass class at Pilchuck Glass School and he has been "hooked" ever since. Today Brian’s work is focused towards his Glass Hats series that evolved from his interest in human interaction with familiar objects. He began working with hand blown hats in college, "almost as a mistake." But, says Brenno, "I quickly realized the power the hat shape had to evoke strong associations, memories and feelings that everyone can understand"
