Richard Hornby and Linda Allen are the artistic forces behind Fire Ranch Glass, housed in a custom studio in the heart of the Arizona desert. Hornby's interest in stained glass as a teenager changed forever in 1985, when he walked into a hot glass studio. After three years as a crew member at Stephen John Clement's Glass Art Studio, he moved on to Philabaum's Glass Gallery, where he met Allen. She had earned her degree in art history and ceramics from the University of Arizona. Together, they formed Fire Ranch Glass, which produces inspired, multi faceted sculpture as well as functional ware. "My premier pieces relate my love of dense, rich and vibrant color," offers Hornby.
