"Light and darkness are both present in each painting I create. The dichotomy is always there. Just as in living, we cannot appreciate light without the dark, my painting must go through a similar journey. Painting brings me great joy as I work with acrylics, gold leaf, collage and mixed media. My understanding is each artist is a conduit of something greater than ourselves. Art in whatever form, allows the artist to express a very personal journey of transformation. The ability to see through a glass darkly to the other side and light."
